At the Table with Dr. King

About The Event
Denver Seminary's Urban Initiative and Student Life invite you to celebrate Black History month together by tuning into this free online performance.
A Denver nonprofit has converted its acclaimed “At the Table with Dr. King” program to online format – because now more than ever, we must not abandon our social responsibilities. It’s normally a live show by a 10-part band but has been adapted for online use because its message is germane to the times – and urgent. “At the Table with Dr. King” highlights the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to call its audience to action and service in their communities – and utilizes a multimedia platform of music, spoken word, and images from the Civil Rights era to make the challenge fresh, engaging, and urgent. The bottom line is simple: Listen for your calling. It’s going to involve how you can uniquely serve your community using your unique gifts. Go Live it out. Repeat. Listen, Live, Repeat.
